This is a really cool little place. I was able to appreciate it alot more after reading on its history. It is set on the middle of the courtyard, and one of its distinguishing qualities is the hundreds of pigeons that constantly flock around it. The pigeons are of course very tame, and coming from my town found that strange.
In fact, i had to b careful not to step on them! What I liked is unbelievable great atmosphere amoung the people. Really every one is ready to help and suggest something, even to meet you with prostitute if you want. Get the roasted chestnuts from the street vendors. A very unusual treat. Fun shopping; wonderful history and nice people. Narrow streets as old as Sarajevo itself Full of small trade shops, restaurants, sweet shops and souveniers.
Will give you a very special mixure of sights, smells, tastes and impressions to ensure you will remember being on this spot forever Lose yourself in the history of the old caravans, and street stalls. Some tremendous history and sights. Many stalls selling copper wares, and some originals jewellery shops a connection to past centuries of traders. Pretty well geared for tourists with many cafes and prices are exceptionally high.
Definitely haggle for price if you want to purchase something, as there are many people selling the same thing. It is such a quaint little area that you cannot help but feel peaceful. The pigeons and families walking around shops definitely add charm. Flights Vacation Rentals Restaurants Things to do. All of your saved places can be found here in My Trips.
